How do you do a title search for property in the state of Ohio

Due to the number of possible liens on a property and the exposure to liability, it would be my suggestion to call a title compay who is trained to look in all of the proper sources and is protected with insurance. They arre in the phone book.

With all due respect to your personal ambition, I do not recommend that you do your own title search. There are companies in the phonebook that will do this for a reasonable fee. Due to the complexity of the real estate records, most attorneys that I know hire a company to do title searches.
