Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Ohio

can i transfer the deed of a property i own back to the mortgage company who has a lein on it? we are trying to remove our names as owners and the company will not allow us to sell it. Also if so will a quick claim deed work?

You cannot simply quit claim deed a property back to the bank to escape liability on a mortgage. You may want to talk to your bank about a deed in lieu of foreclosure.
