transferring property
Is ther such a thing called self serving power of attorney that would make it difficult when transferring property? Son gave father POA. Son is overseas, father refinanced home for better rate and now problems transferring title. What nneds to be done?How fast can it happen or deal will be dead!

I would imagine that you will need to record the power of attorney indicating that you had the authority to do what you did. Otherwise ask the title company what is needed to clean up the title.
