Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Ohio

Width of Right of Way

I own a 4 foot wide foot bridge that crosses a small creek onto our neighbor property. I spoke with a local lawyer and he informed me that because the bridge had been there more than 21 years we have a prescriptive right of way. My question is if I would pursue going to court to legally add this right of way to my deed is there a minimum width right of way that I would be granted, or would it be only the width of the existing bridge. I would like to have a right of way wide enough for a car bridge (9 ft) if I would ever want to put one in the future. The neighbor is hastile and would never grant me right of way without going to court.

Why do I think there is a troll under the bridge?Ask your local attorney, after engaging his services,if eminent domain exists in your state (21 years ofadverse possession give you certain claims) However, look for a 4' wide car because you won'tgget a full sized bridge without the other owners consent.
