Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Ohio

I believe this to be sexual harassment

There is this guy at work is 17 years old. He use to be a night time employee who I had to write up on sexual harrasment of a female employee. The owner saw no reason to take any action on these manner. I went on vaction and came back to him as our general manager. And another report of sexual harrasment of another female employee. And now there is me. He keeps grabbing me around the waist . I have told him this is not a welcomed thing and I want him him to stop. He has not listen. When I went to the owners they said I need to get roof. Bring in a tape record or something and get it on tape. What do they mean proof there are two other females who have said the same. Is there anything I can do about this. Oh yea and since he has gone to general manager all of his write ups on these matters have disappeared. Is there anything I can do? Get the proof then what since they have aloud this to continue. Are they liable?

Re: I believe this to be sexual harassment

You may be able to sue the employee directly. Additionally, it appears that your employer is violating the Fair Employment and Housing Act (Government Code Sections 12940, et seq.) It is unlawful for your employer to fail to protect you and your co-workers from sexual harassment once they have knowledge. You should contact an attorney in your area who is experienced in sexual harassment litigation. You must file a written claim with the Department of Fair Employment and Housing and/or the Equal Employment Opportunities Commission within one year of the harassment or you will lose your right to sue.

THIS IS NOT INTENDED TO BE LEGAL ADVICE, BUT RATHER JUST A GENERAL DISCUSSION OF LEGAL RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS.
