Social Security Survivor Benefits
If dependency can be claimed until
the age of twenty-four, can that
dependent still receive survivor
benefits from one or more parental
guardians even after a filed divorce
between the mother and the father
has been granted?

Re: Social Security Survivor Benefits
Social Security survivor's benefits for children end at age 18, or if they are still in high school, until age 19.
If the surviving child is disabled and age 18 or older, he or she can draw disabled adult child's benefits.
