Legal Question in Traffic Law in Ohio
Accident with uninsured motorist
Involved in accident with uninsured motorist. At scene of accident he asked what my deductible was ($500). Estimate from my insurance co is $1897. Can I contact other party requesting this amount as I do not want this to go against my insurance?? He was not cited for driving without insurance as he did present an insurance card (I am assuming coverage was not paid for, otherwise why would he have a proof of insurance card)??
