Legal Question in Traffic Law in Ohio

Allegedly causing an accident

I allegedly caused a car to swerve from drifting into her lane on the freeway. Witnesses apparently saw me do this, but I don't think I did. The car that swerved hit another car and hit the median. There were no reported injuries. I had to go to the police station about five hours after the incident and fill out a statement. At that time, I was cited for failure to travel in marked lanes. If I plead not guilty, do I have any chance of winning the case?

Re: Allegedly causing an accident

If there are witnesses, it will be very tough to win. You need to find your own witnesses. It may be worth some effort, because you may get sued later for this. I do traffice cases in and around Akron, if you are interested, feel free to contact me. I can give you a quote. Best Regards, Edward DiCato
