Legal Question in Traffic Law in Ohio
Car Accident on private property - strip shopping center
I backed into a car in a strip shopping center parking lot. Should I be sited & fined for ''improper backing'' when this happened on private property? There was minor damage the other car which will be taken care of by my insurance.

NO. Generally when an accident occurs on private property the police do not issue a citation. PLead not guilty and fight the ticket.
