Legal Question in Traffic Law in Ohio
My daughter was driving and was stopped for speeding. The officer told her she was going 75 and she said she had her cruise control set at 69. When he came back she asked to see proof of her speed on his laser speed gun. he showed her it said 79mph but her tickets was for going 80mph in a 65 zone. Is what he told her she was going, what the laser gun showed or what he cited her for correct?

There are certainly discrepancies but if you want to fight this, you should hire an attorney. The attorney will know how to cross-examine the cop to show bias or lack of credibility. If your daughter is at least 18 she can represent herself but you can not.
