Legal Question in Traffic Law in Ohio
Double jeapordy?
I recently got a dui, was sentenced to 10 days in county jail and was ordered to attend aa and counseling. I have since served the ten days and have been attending meetings. Upon meeting with my p.O. I was told in order for me to get driving privelages i now had to get restrictive plates, however there was no mention of this at the time of sentencing. Please advise. Thank you.

You must look to the actual journal entry from the judge on the day of your sentencing. I there is no mention of the yellow plates, you do not need to have them. That of course is the case if this is your first DUI. If you have had 2 or more in 6 years, it might be mandatory.
