Legal Question in Traffic Law in Ohio

Driving Under Suspension

I was stopped by a Ohio Highway Patrol due to expired plates. I was given a citation with the following:

Suspended Drivers License - 4510.11A and Expired Plate - 4503.21

Additionally, he found that there was an arrest warrant from a nearby city. He called the local PD to come take me. However, the officer who arrived was able to schedule me a court appearance as opposed to an arrest.

I've been in the process of getting my license reinstated due to an earlier mishap. I haven't been able to renew the plated due to the suspended license.

I am scheduled in court first for the citation, and then again at a later date for the warrant.

I feel that an attorney is the best source of help in this situation. What can I expect from this?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Driving Under Suspension

The most important thing you need to know is to get your license. Once you do, all of this will become not as serious. In order to do this, you might need to delay the citation, address the warrant case and then come back to the citation court. I can easily do this for you, or you may contact me directly with any more questions.
