Legal Question in Traffic Law in Ohio
error on parking ticket
i received a ticket for blocking a sidewalk. on it the ticketthe officer put in as the court date of 9/16 instead of 8/16. i went to the police station and an officer said it was an 8 not a nine and i would have to show up in court. when my case was called i asked for a dismissal citing th e erronous court date the magistrate and prosecuting atty. both said it didn't matter as i show up anyway, which if i didn't i would have a warrent for failure to appear. i pleaded not guilty and go back this week. i live in ohio near cincinnati
