Legal Question in Traffic Law in Ohio
How do I expunge a contempt of court record that was thrown out of court?
I had a parking ticket for a car that I gave away which was still in my name that was parked on the street. The person received numerous tickets on the vehicle for not moving it. I ended up with a contempt of court charge because I did not know about the tickets. When I went to court the Judge immediately dismissed the case. What can I do now to get it expunged from my record. When I do a background check it shows up as contempt of court.

You can file a motion to have the dismissed charge sealed. Most criminal defense attorneys in your city will know how to do this.
