Legal Question in Traffic Law in Ohio
failure to provide proof of insurance
I was stopped by the police late Friday night and was informed by the officer that I was driving on a suspended license which I was not aware of. I had received a speeding ticket in Cleveland in July and mailed in my fine. I also mailed in my proof of insurance whichnthey apparently never received. I go to court in a few days. What will be the penalties?

Re: failure to provide proof of insurance
You can receive up to 6 months in jail for driving under suspension, but it doesn't sound to me like you're guilty. Can you prove that you mailed in the fine and had proof of insurance?
