Legal Question in Traffic Law in Ohio
This happened thirthteen years ago
Thirthteen years ago I went to court for speeding(11 miles over) and no operator's license(permit only), I received 80 days community service, 6 months in jail(suspended) with 5 years probation, I was 26 at the time. After all of this I became homeless with no forwarding address and of course no transporation. However, as the years went by I never thought anything more and even got caught 2 years ago for no operator's license and nothing came up on this other matter. I received a letter the other day from the county the first offense was in saying they had issued a bench warrant and told me to contact an attorney. I called the county and they said it was for not giving them a forwarding address and not doing my community service. Will I have to do the 6 months in jail now? I told them I was willing to do the community service. I finally have a decent job now and don't want to lose it. I'm the only income in my family. What do I do?

You'll be fine. Get an attorney and he will work out the details. Since so much time has passed they probably won't throw you in jail - just want you to complete your sentence.
