Legal Question in Traffic Law in Ohio
Lakewood ohio traffic court
Hi, I received a ticket in Lakewood Ohio for turning right on red. I thought i could handle it and just mail a check when i returned home, to Washington, dc. Instead, I found a notice in my mailbox that i needed to appear at 9am in court tomorrow morning, Monday. I can't find a lawyer at this time at night. what do i do?

Call the clerk of the Ohio traffic court tomorrow and explain that you thought that you could prepay this traffic infraction and don't understand why you've apparently received a summons to appear in court.

Also you might see if they have an online or telephone payment system.
