Legal Question in Traffic Law in Ohio
Misdemeanor question
I got a ticket for fictitious plates. It has a max of $250 fine and 30 days in jail. I can't go to jail, what should I do? Do you usually go to jail for that?

Re: Misdemeanor question
No, not usually
If the plates belong to you but are registered for another vehicle, the court will probably allow you to pay a fine to the Clerk without going in front of the Judge. if the plates were stolen you should get an attorney.
Good Luck
