Legal Question in Traffic Law in Ohio
I have a ticket that I have not paid in over a year! I want to pay whatever fine but am afraid, what should I do? would I be able to pay the fine or will there be additional penalties?

You should contact an attorney or contact the court. If it's a minor misdemeanor (like speeding or a stop sign ticket) in Franklin County you would likely be able to have this added onto the docket for traffic arraignments any day of the week and have the matter taken care of. If it's a more serious offense, you should have an attorney handle it.
Additional considerations are that an older ticket may be easier to fight, so having an attorney would not be a bad idea. Also, you will want to make sure that any warrant blocks are taken care of so that your license is reinstated (which will cost an additional fee at the BMV).
