Legal Question in Traffic Law in Ohio
traffic convictions
I was wondering if you can get felonies expundged; can you get past traffic convictions expundged or sealed?

Re: traffic convictions
Under Ohio law, some felonies are eligible for expungment, as are most misdemeanors. Traffic offenses are not.
In order to be eligible for expungment you must be a "first offender" --- which generally means that the offense you are asking to have sealed must be the only criminal conviction on your record. Routine traffic offenses (like speeding) do not disqualify you from expungment, but a drunk driving conviction would.
