Legal Question in Traffic Law in Ohio

Traffic Ticket

My mother recently had a speeding trial for a citation that was unjustly written. She wasn't speeding and the judge seemed to believe her story. He even said he honestly believed that she believed that she wasn't speeding. After closing arguments, he said he needed a week and a half to come up with a verdict. It's almost been three weeks now and still no verdict when we check. Does he have a certain deadline to meet or should she just forget about it and consider it to be a not guilty verdict?

Re: Traffic Ticket

There is a third option. She should wait for the Judge to make a decision. It sounds to me like this judge is trying very hard to give your mother a fair trial, and you should not discount the importance of that.

I would advise your mother to simply wait to see what the Court's decision turns out to be.
