Legal Question in Traffic Law in Ohio
unpaid parking fines
Can a state university that you do not have any affiliation with legally make you pay parking fines, and put a boot on your car? If this boot was not but on right and you took it off without damage to it and gave it back can they take legal action against you for theft?

Yes. I would imagine the ticket came from University PD. University police departments are generally bona fide law enforcement agencies.
