Can a family member of a deceased person who died with a will view the will after it has be recorded at the appropriate court house?

"Access to Will"
While I'm licensed in Tennessee and not in your state, in every state I've heard of, once a Will is recorded with the Court at the start of the Probate process, it becomes a public record and ANYONE can take a look at it... which is how I ended up with copies of the wills of Elvis, John Lennon, and Marilyn Monroe to put in my waiting room.(It's also why many people instead go for Living Trusts as an estate planning tool to avoid having any meaningful estate pass through probate where anyone can look at it -- frankly, I don't understand the concern with privacy AFTER your dead, but it is a concern for many.)
Viewing Will At Courthouse
Any Will that has been probated is of public record and can be viewed by anyone. If the Will has not been probated, I would think that the decision to allow anyone to view the Will is within the discretionary policy of the probate clerk's office.
Viewing Will at the Court House
Yes, anyone may view the Will at the courthouse. Unless the Court orders otherwise, the Will is a public document.
Access to will after probate
After a will is probated it is public record and may be viewed by anyone.
