I was the sole benficiary to my companions national pension plan His daughter appealed this twice and was denied The decision on Oct 30 was final Now the pension plan says they will wait til April to release the money until they see if the daughter sues Don't I have the right to the money sooner since their decision was final

No. Your companion's daughter disputed the claim within the insurance company. Her next step would be to take it to a court of law. It sounds like the second notice of denial gives notice that she has one hundred eighty days to file a lawsuit. If this is the case, then they can delay the distribution to you.
