Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio
My brother died several years ago with no will. No probate was done because there was no estate. He was not married. He was unemployed. He owned no car. He owned no house. He owned nothing. Today there is $700 unclaimed money with the state. Can it be claimed economically or will lawyer fees eat it up?

You don't need an attorney, simply file a claim with the State of Ohio's unclaimed funds division. The division is part of the Ohio Department of Commerce. Their web site is: http://www.com.ohio.gov/unfd/
Simply follow the directions from the aforementioned division.
