Can you compose your own written will and just have it notarized at a bank and is it legal?

While it is legal to write you own will, I would highly advise you to contact an attorney that can make sure all your wishes are fulfilled. An estate planning attorney can also make sure that your assets are owned correctly and your beneficiary designations are correct to fulfill your goals.
Please note that a notarized will is not valid. A will in Ohio needs to be witnesses by two unrelated persons.
