Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

Contesting a will in CT

My brother left 3 wills, the latest of which was written in 2005. In the prior will, he left me $200,000. In the 2005 will, he left me $5,000. We were not speaking at the time, and he was alcoholic, HIV-positive and generally vindictive throughout his life which I can prove. Can I contest this will? I have an attorney in CT, who has been handling estate issues since my brother was murdered in January. He cannot have the will contested on my behalf because of a conflict of interest.

Re: Contesting a will in CT

You should be able to contest the will and a Connecticut lawyer can handle it. This doesn't mean you will succeed, however.
