What does it mean if you sign a waiver of notice of probate of a will?

When a probate administration is open the executor or administrator must notify all the people named in the will and all the persons who would have received property if the person died without a will.

They can either have the person sign a waiver which indicates they know that the probate has been started or they can send someone a certified mail notification.

The executor or administrator must file all the waivers or the proof of certified mailing with the court and once they are filed that will start the period to contest the will.
