If all of the outstanding debts of the estate have been paid and assets have been distributed, you need to file a final account to close the estate. The sale of the house that has already been transferred and recorded into your and your brother's name does not have any impact on the estate. He should discuss the sale of the house with his bankruptcy attorney because it may significantly impact his bankruptcy. He should have discussed with his attorney prior to taking ownership of the property.
