Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

My father passed away a month ago and did not change his beneficiary from my mother who passed 5yrs ago.I am having Trouble understanding the insurance company(prudential) on what to do to get the money. I live in Ohio,Thanks,Greg

If there is no valid beneficiary for the insurance policy then you will need to start a probate admnistration for the insurance proceeds. The proceeds will be paid according to his will or is there is no will to his heirs.
