Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio
My father passed away in Ohio in 1997. In his will he left the house to his wife (my stepmother) if she is living. She passed away September 2009 and left the house to a stranger. There are two living stepchildren, children of my father. Can I contest her will?

Unfortunately if your father left the property outright to his wife then it was hers to do with as she wishes. You can contest the will if you believe she did not have the capacity to make a will or if she was under influence of another person. The mere fact that she did not give the property to the two living stepchildren would not be enough to contest the will.
