Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

Fathers estate

father passed away 3 years ago and estate still isnt settled,my step mother is executor. the estate attorney represented my father and unlce before fathers passing. my brother and I did not hire an attorney until after 2 years of the estate attorny stalling, my father was part owner in 3 seperate buisness's, 1 being with our uncle, we warned the estate attorny weeks after my fathers passing that my uncle would hide anything he could, the estate attorney assured us this couldnt happen and now that my unlce has he is not aggresively pursuing what is gone, my attorny I hired a year ago doesnt want to go against the estate attorny and no one wants to aggresively follow up on several things missing from the company that my uncle is claiming wasnt there or disappeared with no anwser,or is showing losses for that are absolutely incorrect.

1 - anything legal we can do against the estate attorney for not staying on top of this matter, promising shortly after my fathers death that nothing can come up missing everything is safe.

2 - what do we do i do about our attorny not wanting to aggresively take all of this on and hold someone responsible, it would conservatively add up over 100,000. unnacounted for.

It has been my experience that what often happens in these kinds of cases is that it is very hard to get solid evidence that will hold up in Court. It may very well be that your attorney feels that he simply does not have enough evidence to persue these "lost" items.
