Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio
I want to give my friend power of attorney, but I owe more on my house than what it is worth, I am having surgery and if something goes wrong , will they be responsible for any outstanding bills if my house does not sell for what I owe? I am having surgery and just want to know what will happen if something goes wrong?

Hello,
No, not unless they co-signed on your mortgage. Your Attorney In Fact in a POA is not personally responsible for your debts.
