Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio
GQuit Claim Deed
Thru a quit claim deed before he died, my father left me 1/3 share of his house. My siblings prefer not to sell, and one insists in living in the house. I do not want deal with property taxes and upkeep, but
neither sibling has the means to
buy my share. Can I legally have the house sold to get my share?

Re: GQuit Claim Deed
Yes. You need to bring a partition action. As a single house cannot be "partitioned" into separate parts, like a piece of vacant land could, a court will order a sale, giving the current owners first opportunity to buy out the others.
