Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

My grandfather recently purchased a property that is to be given to myself upon his death. He currently has an estate set up for everything he owns, although this property was purchased after the estate was set up therefore it is not included in it. Can we simply have a will drawn up to leave this property to me or will the estate have to be modified?

If everything has already been set up, meaning a will and/or trust, then you can amend those document to include provisiona that leaves the property to you. Also, you can prepare and file a transfer on death deed that will transfer the property directly to you upon his death. You should consult an estate planning attorney to help you.
