Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

If a grandmother who lived in Ohio with her son and granddaughter, died in 2007 without a will, does her son and/or granddaughter who still live in the home in 2010 have rights over the other heirs i.e. the grandmother also had another son and daughter.

If the house was in your grandmother's name alone then it would need to go through probate and all of her heirs as determined under Ohio law would have an interest. Given your facts it would pass to all three siblings equally.
