Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

I have a hearing for an "Application for Appointment of Guardian of Minor" in 12 hrs, with no counsel. Is this just to see if a trial is needed of is this it? My parents are trying to take my seven and eight year old children. I have had 2 DUI's in 4 years, I comply with my probation and I am a widow. This is scary..

Very Anxious

I think you should have legal representation. You need to go to the hearing. The magistrate or judge should ask you if you are represented and, if not, do you want an attorney. If you indicate that you do want an attorney, then the hearing should be postpone for you to be able to retain one. If you are not asked this question, which is unlikely, then bring it up yourself. Good luck.
