Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

I am an heir to my uncle's estate along with my other cousins. One is the trustee of the estate. I don't trust what she is doing? How can I foiund out what is due me? we are being asked to sign papers for her to buy my uncle's condo and supposedly all else is figured out as to the worth of his estate. I would like to know what amount of money I will be getting before I sign these papers. They all live in Ohio and I live in Florida.

Your question is not clear enough for a complete answer. Is your uncles estate a probate matter or was everything held in a trust? Is your cousin an executor or trustee? If this matter is a probate matter you should receive a copy of the will and an inventory of estate assets. If the assets were held in a trust, you as beneficiary can ask for a copy of the trust and an accounting of assets.

In general a trustee or an executor cannot buy assets from the estate or trust. You should have an attorney review any documents that you are being asked to sign and make sure that you receive all the information that you are entitled to.
