husband murder with no will
estate needs to be settled, No will, Surviving spouse with child. can asset's be transfered to spouse and up to what dollar amount of assets without probate.

Probate is necessary for probate assets only. Spouse will get everything, and assets up to $100,000 can be released to her in an abbreviated probate proceeding called a release of assets.
