Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio
My husband has stage 4 cancer with only weeks to live according to the Dr. He has a policy on me with him as the beneficiary. He also has a policy on himself with me as the beneficiary.What will happen to the policy he has on me with him as the beneficiary when he dies ? He refuses to make a will. Also, will I be responsible for his medical bills ? We are stll legally married but haven'tlived together in 15 years although my family and I are still going in to help take care of him becaus we care and he has no one else.

The life insurance policy payouts go directly to the beneficiary upon the death of the insured, and if the beneficiary has died, then the next of kin.
