My husbands mother in law died and her daugher was the executor? With my being the living spouse, do I have any rights since my husband passed away?

Unless it is specifically stated in your mother in law's will that you will inherit, you will not receive anything under the Probate laws. If your mother in law died without a will, your husbands children, if any, would be entitled to inherit.
