We need to change names of the children to their married names, and name two grandsons by name. Can we do that with an addedum that we will have notarized?

Re: Living Trust
Generally trusts can be amended by an amendment. You should consult with the attorney that drafted the document or another attorney to make sure that the amendment is consistent with the original document.
In many cases depending on how the trust is drafted you do not need to do an amendment to change names if someone gets married or add the names of grandchildren born after the trust is drafted. Most trusts are drafted to take into account those types of changes.
This is intended as general informtion only and is not legal advise nor does it create an attorney client relationship.
