Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

My mom left her work benefit to her adult children. It was listed on a recently generated official document provided to her children. But when the adult children contacted her work, they had an extremely outdated card with my mother's signature on it & they relayed to us that even though the official document that we have is more recent it doesn't have her signature on it and they have to go with the old card with her signature. Note: this card is so old that the company (which is a large local entity) had letterhead from when the company was called something else from decades ago. Do the adult children have a legal chance to contest in court?

It is difficult to answer without additional information and background information needed. Such as, what was the "official document" provided that listed the adult beneficiaries? Was it filed with her work? Who did the old card list as the beneficiary? Did your mother have a will or trust? If you would like a free consultation, I would be happy to talk to you and your family.
