Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

My mother died and she said was the beneficiary to her savings account. When I went to the Credit Union to inquire, they said I was listed as a joint account holder with her credit card and savings account and I could not get the money in the savings account unless I paid off the credit card. Am I obligated to pay the credit card off?

If you co-signed for the credit card you may be obligated to pay off the credit card. Have an attorney reveiw the credit card agreement to determine your liability.
