MY mother resently passed away and left no will. she has ahome that is paid for,how much would a estate cost to set up? There are 5 childern and one of them want to buy out the other 4,is the price the same?how long would it take to set up estate?

If you hired an attorney, most charge an hourly rate (approx. $150-250/hr.) so it is difficult to determine what the legal fees would be without evaluating the facts of the case. Smaller firms or solo practicioners may charge less. Also, the filing fee for a full administration at most courts is around $200.00.
