Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

My mothers estate is to be divided equally between her children. One passed away and my mother didn't make any changes after the sibling died. Question is Does the deceased siblings children have claim to moms estate.

The answer depends on the way the will was written. Commonly, the grandchildren would recieve their parents share. But sometimes it is written so that the suriving child gets everything.
