My mother owned a home an had it paid for. She owned it for 37 years. she married a man about for years ago. When she died she had a verbal agreement with her husband that he could live in the house until he died and then she wanted the home to come back to her children. There was quite a few people even his children that new this to be the case. Now my step father passed (3 days ago) and His son and girlfriend live at my moms house and plan on keeping it. Does me and my sibblings have any recorse that we can take legally?

Did your mom have a will? A prenuptial agreement? Who inherited the house at her death?

A surviving spouse has certain rights by law. Without knowing what all was in your mother's estate, and the answers to the other questions above, it is impossible to answer your question.
