Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

There is a person that is in my aunts will that needs to sign and return some legal documents to my lawyer in order to finish up and settle this estate.
The problem is, she's very old and forgetful maybe even senile.
She has said that she doesn't remember receiving the document or if she did, wasn't sure if she mailed them back to the attorney. I talked to her on the phone yesterday and she said she had signed and mailed them to the attorney.
My mom spoke to her today and she told my mom that she never said that to me.
There has to be some legal avenue to pursue here as this cannot just keep going on and on.
if she truly has a cognitive issue that is the problem, or if she's doing it on purpose, there has to be a legal solution.

Yes of course there is a way to move this case forward. If there is a lawyer representing the estate, he or she will know how to go forward.
