Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio
I am primary beneficiary of my recently deceased fathers life insurance and received the check. My father has 5 children, two whom are executors of his last will and testament and they want to split that life insurance check evenly between us 5 children. Are they entitled to make the decision as to what that check is used for and can they take it from my bank account once deposited?

If you are the beneficiary of the life insurance then the benefits are yours and the executors have no control over those funds.
