My stepfather passed away. Him and my mother werenot not married. he was my dad from the age of 8 until he died when i was 28. he had no will and the land was in his name. do i have any legal right, as he was my father, my biological one died when i was six, the only one i had. Do i have any legal right to inherit the land, i have 2 brothers in the same situation, he does have 3 daughters. also if no, can one daughter sale the property without the consent of the other 2, I do live on the property and pay the taxes for the property and have for 4 years. thank you

I am sorry for your loss.

Unfortunately since you were not legally adopted by your stepfather you would not inherit from him. The only way he could have provided for you would be in a will.

Based on the facts that you presented the three daughters would inherit the land and will need to go through probate to transfer the land.

Since you have been living on the land and paying the taxes you might have some rights as a tenant as far as notices they might need to give you.
